Reconditioning makes sense when it restores the cylinder’s function in the machine. A new chrome plating alone will not solve the problem if the journal pins, bearing seats, keyways, geometry, or steel components are damaged.

Technical chrome can be a very good choice for a metering roller, but it is not suitable for every application. Therefore, before providing a quote, it is necessary to assess the operating environment, temperature, medium, risk of damage, geometry, and condition of the steel part.
